Frequently asked questions.
The practical things we would want to know before booking a family stay.
Who am I booking with?
You’re booking Casa Tres Luces directly with our family. Nick manages the hospitality side of Tres Luces personally. Samara Rentals is our local property-management and concierge partner in Sámara.
Is the price really all-in?
Yes. The direct-booking total shown for your dates includes cleaning and applicable taxes, and we do not add a separate booking/service fee at checkout. Prices are in U.S. dollars.
What is the cancellation policy?
For stays under 28 nights, we use Moderate cancellation terms modeled on our current Airbnb policy: full refund at least 5 days before check-in, with partial refund terms after that. There is also a 24-hour full-refund grace period for eligible bookings made at least 7 days before arrival. Read the complete policy.
What are check-in and checkout times?
Check-in is after 3:00 PM and checkout is by 10:00 AM.
How many people can Tres Luces accommodate?
Tres Luces is an entire three-bedroom, two-bath home designed for up to six guests.
Is the pool private?
Yes. The pool is private to Tres Luces guests.
Is there Wi-Fi and a place to work?
Yes. Tres Luces has fast Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace, which also makes longer stays practical.
Who helps us once we are in Sámara?
Samara Rentals provides local property-management and concierge support. Confirmed guests receive the appropriate local contact details before arrival.
Can the concierge help arrange activities?
Yes. The local team can help coordinate options such as transportation, rental cars, tours, ATV outings, private chefs, photoshoots and fishing. Services themselves are priced by the local providers.
Can I book for 28 nights or longer?
Yes. The pricing engine supports stays of 28 nights or more, and eligible non-Peak nights receive the applicable long-stay discount. If you are considering a longer or more flexible stay, you can also contact Nick.
Why is it called Tres Luces?
The “three lights” are our three daughters. The name is personal because the house is personal: this began as our family’s home in Sámara, not as an anonymous rental product.
